For the third year, Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV), Georgia’s first, largest and most experienced nonprofit working to end domestic violence, is hosting its annual “Executives in Action” luncheon on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Capital City Country Club.
The luncheon, originally created in 2017 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the organization’s inception, strives to educate leaders across Atlanta on the dangers of domestic violence. The term domestic violence infers a behavior that happens at home, however its impact has a profound effect on the workplace. With 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men experiencing domestic violence in their lifetime, it is essential for companies that view their employees as their most valuable asset to acknowledge that no workplace is immune. Productivity loss, on the job accidents, increases in absenteeism and tardiness, higher healthcare costs as well as heightened security risks impact the employee, their colleagues and your bottom line.
For event information and to register for the luncheon, visit www.padv.org/events/executives-in-action/ or contact our Special Events Director at Nordene.Bartley@padv.org.
PADV is an organization that has served metro Atlanta since 1977 and is currently the largest nonprofit domestic violence agency in Georgia. Its mission is to end the crime of intimate partner violence and empower its survivors. PADV helps to transform the lives of approximately 20,000 women and children every year through emergency intervention, education, violence prevention and long‐term advocacy.
