:Tribute to Hall of Famer Bob Burns of Lynyrd Skynyrd – Hosted by Artimus Pyle

Artimus Pyle and Friends Headline Benefit Tribute for

Rock n Roll Hall of Fame Lynyrd Skynyrd Drummer Bob Burns

Artimus Pyle is proud to be hosting the First Annual Bob Burns Benefit Tribute on Saturday, March 9, in Canton GA at the Action Building.     Burns was the original drummer and a founding member of Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Pyle filled his shoes in the final years of the band after Burns left.  Both went on to be inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and remained close friends until Burns death in 2015. “To be able to bring memory to the late great Robert Bob Burns is an honor,” said Pyle.  “Bob was playing drums with Lynyrd Skynyrd when everyone all fell in love with the words of Ronnie Van Zant.”

This will be a night to remember as Pyle will be performing with some of Atlanta’s premier rockers fronted by Fozzy guitarist Rich Ward, guitarist Andrew Evans, vocalist Ben Powell, and more.  Additionally, the night will feature special guest appearances including the likes of singer and mega-talented entertainer Chris Jericho, and Pyle’s son Chris Pyle, whose band Chappell will be the main support and will bring their unique southern fried tribal boogie sound to the stage.

100% of the net proceeds from the event will be donated to Songs For Kids, which gives children battling serious illness the opportunity to express themselves through music. “To be able to participate with this amazing line up of these top talented players for a great cause is a privilege,” said Pyle.  “Please support this musical tribute and come and meet all of us!”

ACTION BUILDING is located at 271 Marietta Road, Canton GA  30114.
