On Saturday, May 12 at 7 p.m., the arena football team, the Atlanta Havoc, will face off against the Charlotte Energy in the Buford Arena. To help end child poverty, the Atlanta Havoc has teamed up with a local Lawrenceville Walgreens store in support of Red Nose Day.
Red Nose Day is a fundraising campaign run by nonprofit Comic Relief that supports local charities that work to keep children in need safe, healthy and educated. (RedNoseDay.org)
Walgreens is an official partner of Red Nose Day and anyone who purchases a red nose for $1 from the Walgreens located at 2365 Buford Drive (at the corner of Hwy 20 and Old Peachtree Road) in Lawrenceville will be admitted to the May 12th Atlanta Havoc game free of charge ($15 ticket value). The receipt from the Red Nose purchase must be presented to exchange for a regularly priced entry ticket.
April 2 through June 2 Walgreens shoppers will have the opportunity to make #EveryOneCounts when they add a $1 Red Nose to their baskets. Proceeds from the sale of the Red Nose are donated to charity organizations with programs across the Atlanta area that deliver impactful programs that support children in poverty.
